COMMUNITY
As part of a Law Enforcement Family, Sara knows having a community is important. To help other law enforcement officers find that community, she founded Northern Colorado Police and Fire Families, a non-profit group for First Responders and their families to meet, socialize, and find support through one another.
This place of support allows Northern Colorado’s First Responder Families to build and strengthen friendships and bring not only the families of First Responders together, but also the First Responders themselves, in a fun, drama-free, and easy-going environment.
NOCO Police and Fire Families has monthly meetups, where the entire family can attend to get to know each other, communicate the ups and downs of life, and most importantly find fun and easy support as we all move through this life as a First Responder Family. This is an opportunity for all to find new friendships and connections and strengthen those they already have.
